Another surprising 3 reel game from IGT, the Hot Roll Super Times Pay mobile slot might be hard to say quickly, but it’s got plenty of surprises.
Usually you know what you’re going to get with a classic slot, the Fruit Machine from mFortune is your classic example. You spin, you win if you get 3 symbols in a row on either 1 to 3 paylines.
And then you have IGT. Who realised that they needed to bring some classic mobile slots into their portfolio, but keeping things ‘simple’ has never really been their forte.
So you end up with something like the Triple Diamond slot game, where you have wilds with multipliers, for example.
But that’s nothing in comparison with Hot Roll Super Times Pay, who somehow over 3 reels somehow manages to fit in 20 paylines, wild symbols with multipliers, stacked wilds, and a click me bonus you play to the catchy tune of ‘Feeling hot, hot, hot’.
If you’re wondering why the awkward name it’s because the Hot Roll Super Times Pay slot literally names it’s main features in it’s title.
The Hot Roll bit is triggered by 3 bonus symbols on screen, which we won’t lie, can be fairly difficult to find.
Once you do, you realise this little game is perfect for Android and iPhone play, as you flick the dice at the swipe of a finger, and find out what you’ve won.
The best rolls are snake eyes (double 1) or a 12 (double 6). You then get 10x your total bet. If that doesn’t sound like much, that’s because that’s not the end of the bonus. You keep rolling the dice until you hit a seven; which granted, as any dice player knows is the most common number to show up on two die.
Still, we rarely walked away with less than about 5 throws of the dice, and if not a massive fortune, certainly a top up.
The thing is, the hot roll bonus isn’t the main course of this IGT slot game buffet. It’s a nice little bonus that distracts from what could be just classic gameplay.
Instead, the real start of this Hot Roll Super Times Pay slot show, are the wild symbols, which can show up with anything from 2x to 5x multipliers.
Even more interestingly, they usually come stacked in the centre reels, leading to some brilliant 50x to 80x your bet wins out of the blue, but often enough that you don’t feel cheated.
We have to admit that we thought this would be too complicated for a classic slot. But how wrong were we, as we eagerly watched for those multipliers, and enjoyed some hot, hot feelings on some hot, hot wins.

Wild Symbol: Is the one that says 'wild' on it. However, each will be slightly different as they show up with either a 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x in the centre of the middle, indicating the multiplier on the win if used.
These wild can come in any combination, fully stacked, on reel 2.
Hot Roll Bonus: The 'hot roll' symbol triggers this swipe and click bonus feature, but you have to find one symbol on each of the 3 reels.
You have two dice on screen. If you press on them, you can change the value of the die from anything from 1 to 6 before your roll.
To roll, you simply swipe your mobile or tablet screen and the dice go flying, landing on a value, and giving you cash. The bonus round ends when you get a 7 showing on the dice.
The wins come often as you get 20 paylines and classic slot symbols that pay in a whole variety of combinations.
The Hot Roll Super Times Pay mobile slot isn't revolutionary, by any means, but it makes a nice change from fairly simplistic sevens and bars games, whilst providing you with the occasional hot win to bring a smile to your face.
If you want something a little more classic, we'd probably recommend NetEnt's Mega Joker which still has it's own unique twist, but personally, we prefer this slightly more brazen affair.Play Now at Mr Green »
