One that you’ll either love or hate, the Streak of Luck mobile slot is something a little bit different from the Playtech range of slot games.
We got really luck playing this game – we walked away with about 50% up on our budget. Which is apt seeing as Playtech’s Streak of Luck slot is all about lucky symbols with the reels littered with four leaf clovers, Chinese coins, lady bugs and… a beautiful red head by your side to, we suppose, blow on your dice for good luck?
Needless to say, the theme is simple, but well done.
But because we got lucky we had to be very careful as to how to write this mobile video slot review. It would be so easy for us to say it’s amazing, without taking into considering that this Streak of Luck slot is all about getting that lucky streak and rolling with it, increasing your bet with every decent size win.
But if you don’t get that streak, you might quickly resent it.
The streak meter and 650x your bet jackpot
Though not one of the progressive jackpot slot games in the traditional progressive way, you do have an in-game jackpot of 650x your bet if you manage to get 10 consecutive wins in a row. They don’t even have to be big wins, just any 10 wins in a row.
But hitting that is difficult. What you’ll be really looking for is to get more than 4 consecutive wins to get yourself free spins. We explain this in more detail in the Streak of Luck slot review info below, but needless to say, the more wins in a row you get, the more free spins you win. These all come with a 2x multiplier and additional wilds, so you’d think they would be profitable right?
Well… mostly right. We hit the incredible 45 free spins fairly early on (60 is the most free spins you can win) and got 75x our bet. Not bad you say? True enough, but then we hit 5 free spins often, at barely 5x our bet, and 10 to 15 got you about 20 to 40 times your bet. And it’s hard to break through that free spin glass ceiling.
So actually, the wins here are fairly predictable by that scale. And we played this a lot to test it. We never did hit the 60x free spins, but those come with even more wilds, so we know from others that whether you win the jackpot or the 60 free spins, you’ll be a very happy bunny either way.
Crushing disappointment followed by big highs
But there’s plenty of moments when that lucky streak fails, where you can’t seem to get those 4 simple consecutive wins that you’ll go and double check that all 50 paylines are really ‘on’.
Then, then you might be forgiven to decide that Streak of Luck video slot is never going to pay. Yet don’t despair, this game has so much more to offer. For one it has stacked wilds in the base game, which, granted, a big win would be about 15x your bet, but they certainly help to get you up that streak ladder.
Not to mention that click me dice bonus. It’s not often seen, but that’s because it can be very profitable indeed. You get to throw the dice three times and win the amount on the dice (a 6 gets you 6x your bet etc). Get two sevens however, and you’ll win an additional 20x your bet. Roll three sevens and you’ll win 200x your bet. That a mighty hidden jackpot slot win right there.
Overall, we genuinely saw this as an entertaining and novel idea for a slot game. Plus it plays beautifully as an Android slot as well as an iPhone slot, so it’s hard to fault in our books.

Wilds & Stacked Wilds: The beautiful red-head holding a set of cards is the wild symbol and she's as lucky to come stacked as not throughout the whole game. Thank-god for her, as she's probably the one symbol here that will bring you the most luck to get those streaks.
Dice Bonus: Get the dice symbol on reels 1, 2 and 5 and you'll trigger a second screen mini-game. Here you'll roll a set of double dice three times.
Whatever the number on the dice roll, that's the multiplier awarded to your overall bet. So basically anything from x2 (two 1's on the dice) to x12 (two sixes on the dice).
If you do roll a double, you'll get to roll again, up to a maximum of 6 times.
But that's not where the real big wins hide. What you want is to roll seven. If you roll 7 twice you'll win an additional 20x your bet, and if you roll it three times, you'll get an sweet 200x your bet.
Lucky Streak Meter & Free Spins: On the right side of the screen you have a free spin meter. The trick is to get over 4 consecutive wins on the reels, and the more wins you get, the more free spins you'll win.

Triggering 5 free spins is fairly easy, but more than 15 starts to get pretty darn difficult. Still, when you watch that meter light up and you stop caring how much you are winning, just as long as you win any little thing to keep climbing that ladder... that's when you'll know that you are hooked on the Streak of Luck slot machine.
Streak of Luck Review Conclusion
We liked this game, though we can understand the frustration if you don't win fairly quickly on Streak of Luck mobile slot.
With it's 50 paylines and rewarding you for winning, it reminded us a little of the Mr CashBack slot game - which is no bad thing for Playtech slots fans.
