The 6 Wild Sharks slot game is great for advanced slot players who know that winning 10,368x your bet is the end goal and are not afraid to cage a few sharks to get there.
Boy oh boy, this 6 Wild Sharks slot review was hard to write. If you’ve only played a couple of times and are at the beginning of your slot journey, maybe read about our slots for beginners instead.
But if you know the difference between Megaways slots and Superbet slots, then welcome brave explorer, you are about to play a machine that asks more of your than most.
Mostly because you have to be willing to bet high and risk everything to come out of these deep blue waters in one piece. And even then, you might not.
On the top right-hand corner, you have a button you can press to go into advanced mode.
You open up this 6 Wild Shark slot in classic mode, giving you 4096 ways to win over 6 reels set just under the water. You have divers and surfer symbols battling out against the waves, manta rays, octopus and (of course) stacks of wild shark symbols. The shark symbols only show up on reels 1, 2, 5 and 6 and the scatters on reels 3 and 4.
Sounds like fun? Yes it is. And with an RTP of 96.5% it’s got a load of great wins.
Then you have advanced mode. Here, the RTP is increased to 97% which is practically unheard of in such a high variance machine. AND then you get the choice to put up to 6 sticky wilds on screen.
You’ll have to pay to get those wilds on screen – depending on where they are placed and how many, the price can range from twice your bet to 32x your bet. Not cheap by any means.
Here’s the head-scratcher – the base game is better in advanced mode, but the free spins are better in classic mode. So how do you judge this game properly?
In classic mode, you get to choose how many sticky wilds you have on-screen (up to 6, hence the name 6 Wild Sharks slot), but the more sharks you place the less free spins you play.
In Advanced mode, you get 10 free spins regardless of how many sharks you have on-screen, whether you added just one or 6. If you added 6 it’s certainly a good bonus, if you only added 1, you are better off in classic mode.
In short, this is one real money slot that almost gives you too much choice, which is why we can’t heartily recommend it as it’s complex and requires good knowledge of how slot machines work.
If you love this idea, as we did, then you’ll have a good time. If you’d rather simply place a bet and spin, you might want to play the NetEnt Hotline 2 slot instead, which still gives you a little choice, but not quite as much as here.

Classic and Advanced Mode: First you have to choose how you want to play. In classic mode, you spin a 6 reels and 4096 ways to wins slot machine with wilds, scatters and free spins. The RTP is 96.5%
In advanced mode, you can buy extra locked wilds on reels 1, 2, 5, and 6. How much depends on how many wilds you have on-screen, and where you place them - locked wilds on reels 1 and 2 will cost you double your bet and two wilds will cost your 4x your bet.
It can get expensive quickly, but you can only lock 6 wild sharks on any one spin. In advanced mode the RTP increases to 97%.
The Stacked Shark Wild: Whether you choose to lock the shark wilds or not, you can also find stacked Wild symbols on reels 1, 2, 5 and 5, or the wild zone as they call it. The wild symbol can be used to replace any other symbol on the reels to create a win in this 6 Wild Sharks slot game.
Scatters and Free Spins: Two Buoy scatters on reels 3 and 4 will trigger the free spins.During the free spins any shark wilds that land on the reels will become locked wild for the remainder of the free spins. You can re-trigger the bonus games up to 3 extra free spins each time, but re-trigger can occur multiple time.
You cannot change mode when you hit the free spins.
You don't swim with sharks because you plan on living for long, and you don't play this 6 Wild Sharks mobile slot because you plan on your budget to last that long either.
This will either be the biggest thrill of your life, or the hardest slot you've ever played as you wonder whether buying these extra sticky wild symbols on the reels is worth your while.
The answer is always yes and no.
Yes, it's worth playing because you can win up over 10,000x your bet. No, it's not always worth buying extra wild symbols, but if you are going to jump in, you might as well jump in with two feet straight in and go straight for the big wins or nothing at all.
If that sounds like too much hard work, you may want to check out the Rage of The Seas slot instead. Bloodthirsty pirates are less dangerous than bloodthirsty sharks - though only just.
