Riddle me this: can this Batman & The Riddler Riches mobile slot be defeated with a couple of good clues? Nope, but it looks good whilst it tries.
The branded Playtech slots always look good. Once they have their hands on a TV show or Movie you love, this game studio generally tend to create something worth looking at, if not playing. The only exception we can think of was the terrible Dirty Dancing slot.
And now we can add this Batman & The Riddler Riches slot. It’s got all the wonderful theme you’d expect from the original 1960s Batman TV show. Batman, Robin and the Riddler are the three higher paying symbols and they can come stacked 1, 2 or 3 high.
You’d think that would mean some good win, but unfortunately, that’s not strictly true.
Cascading reels and mystery symbols that lead nowhere
Riddle me this, Riddle me that… what do you get when you put cascading reels and mystery symbols in one slot? Brilliance?
Yes, every single win creates an explosion, leaving behind space for more symbols coming tumbling down from above, giving you a second chance at getting further wins.
And then, randomly, the riddler can drop some boxes onto the five reels which will turn into a singular symbol. Sounds brilliant, but the reality is a little less glowing.
The boxes rarely show up, and the cascading wins rarely get past 2 cascades. But with no multipliers, it’s got none of the excitement of the Gonzo’s Quest slot review.
Batman & The Riddler Riches slot is low paying
There’s a total of 3 bonus features in this Batman & The Riddler Riches online slot.
There are two free spins features. One gives you an increasing multiplier on every cascading win. Which is too little too late, though a 5x multiplier can help give your wallet a boost.
The other bonus games give you sticky wilds that stay sticky on a cascading win. That’s it. So you basically end up with a few more wilds than usual. Again, too little too late.
Finally, you have a click me game which can pay out more than either feature, but rarely shows up, so it’s trickier than a riddle from the riddler.
Batman & The Riddler Riches slot looks good, has great features, but with a poor paytable, we simply cannot give it more than a 2-star review.

In-game bonus features
Wild: The Bat symbol is the wild and substitutes all other symbols. It appears on all reels except 1.
Stacked Symbols: the three highest paying symbols can come stacked 2 or 3 symbols high.
Mystery Spins: The riddler can add random mystery symbols on any spin. These transform into the same symbol to create a win.
Cascading Reels: On every win, the symbols will explode and more will come popping down from above.
Bonus Game: A Bonus symbol on reels 1, 2 and 3 triggers a bonus wheel spin. Here you can get 3 possible bonus games:
- Multiplier Free Games: On every cascading win the multiplier increases, from 2x to 3x to then 5x.
- Sticky Wild Free Games: Sticky wilds can land on any spin and will stick on the reels for up to 3 wins.

Batman & The Riddler Riches Review Conclusion
Not our favourite Playtech DC Jackpot slot, though the theme would make you think that it will rival the likes of the Batman & Catwoman Cash slot.
It doesn't. Although all the features are here for a great game, what you have instead is a fairly mediocre fruit machine with little to no wins.
Batman & The Riddler Riches slot on mobile may look good, but much like its villain, after a while, you'll be wondering why you are chasing such a ridiculous trickster.
We gave it two stars because we love the theme and, overall, you probably won't lose too much if you just want to take a few spins for nostalgia stake.
