We would forgive the lighthearted approach to the game of bingo, but it’s harder to forgive the Bingo Billions mobile slot and its lighthearted wins.
Oh dear NextGen. Oh Dear.
But with this Bingo Billions slot game… just… oh dear.
On every spin you get a kind of Big Brother house music intro, that soon gets on your nerves. And that’s before mentioning the Biiiiiiiiiiingo…!! Shouts by the wild symbol every time it’s used.
Aaah the wild… Usually such a great symbol we look forward to seeing for the wins, this time around we almost dread it.
Here, the main character shouts at you, and gives you two thumbs up whilst dancing in a neon room, which, we can only assume, is where he is safely put away so children aren’t scared of him at night.
Seriously, a wild eyed bingo maniac? We knew you guys exists out there, but let’s not advertise the underbelly of the bingo sport.
He looks like the joker of bingo. And not in a good way. In a ‘padded cell’ way.
Ok, so we really didn’t like the theme. And if the bingo balls had been better done, and they hadn’t used generic cash and symbols for the rest of the symbols, we might have given it three stars.
Because if the theme doesn’t disturb you, Bingo Billions video slot is actually a fairly OK NextGen game.
It’s not going to win any awards, and it certainly won’t make you a billionaire, but it will pay out often in the base game and you seldom have to wait much longer than 50 spins to trigger the free games feature.
There you get all your wins tripled by 3, so once in a while we’ve walked away with 30 to 50 times our bet. Though mostly you’ll get closer to 20.
We can see the reasoning for the Bingo Billions game. Bingo players are just slot players in disguise. And hey, even as slot players we’ve tried our hand at a bit of bingo from time to time.
But this feels like NextGen just needed to put something out there quickly, without as much thought or care as so many of their other casino games online.
Like we said, not a bad game. But if you want something low risk, yet with characters and voices that won’t haunt your dreams at night, then we’d probably recommend the excellentPotion Commotion slot machine or even the unusual Wild West slot.

Wilds: The wild eyed bingo host is the wild symbol and replaces all other symbols except scatter.
Scatters and Free Spins: The Bingo Billions slot logo is the scatter and if you get 3, 4, or 5 across the reels you'll trigger 10, 15, and 20 free games respectively.
Here is where the big wins of the game have the potential to appear as all wins come with an automatic multiplier of 3x your bet.
Perhaps we are being a little harsh to the Bingo Billions mobile slot.
After all, it's a fairly basic game with wild, scatters and free spins - something we've seen before many a time, so no need to hate.
Equally it works great as both an iOS and an Android slot.
But with so many prettier machines now available, this NextGen slot game feels like a massive step backwards for this provider. It doesn't even provide big enough wins to tempt you to close your eyes and spin.
If you want something simple, colourful, and fun, the Stickers slot game by NetEnt should appeal.
Or you can play Bingo Billions at one of these mobile casinos:
