Who is Kora? Why is she calling? And why is she a tentacled creature from Outerspace? We take a closer look at and find out how to play this Call of Kora mobile slot.
We love a good inventive theme. And the good news about this Call of Kora slot game is that it looks amazing. Granted, it’s not crazy unique, but it’s got clever little animations that make you feel like this is something special.
Like how you might not even notice when you first open up this 5 by 3 reel slot machine full of pretty space gems, and that floating gently in the background is a set of tentacles that get more active the bigger the win on the reels.
That is until you hit the wild symbol, at which point you’ll know exactly who is Kora and why you want her to show up as often as possible.
A few quick spins and seasoned casino internet gamblers will soon recognise what you’re getting.
Call of Kora is a 5 reel 3 rows online slot with 10 fixed betline that pay both ways, with a wild that expands to cover the reels and gives you a free re-spin of the other reels.
That’s right folks, with its glowing space gems, this is heavily influenced by the Starburst video slot by NetEntertainment.
But that’s no bad thing, especially as when a wild symbol lands and expands, you get to meet our host. She’s a massive tentacled creature from Outerspace, and you’ll see her massive head pop up behind the screen, her eyes glowing like a disco ball at the excitement of letting you catch another wild symbol.
The problem with being too close in mechanics to another slot machine, is that you can’t help but get compared.
And this isn’t quite as good. For one, the Return to Player Rate is much lower at 95.14% rather than the 97% RTP of Starburst, but with still just the same conservative win of 500x your bet.
For two, you only get wild symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4, and not all five reels. It falls a little short.
However, for fans of Starburst, because you are missing those extra wilds, it means that the Call of Kora slot symbols are worth more, giving you the occasional surprise that makes this a whole load of fun to play for players who love low variance games.
We certainly wouldn’t mind shaking any one of her 10 tentacles from time to time, and if that doesn’t wet our whistle, there’s always the Book of Bob slot by the same provider which gives you bigger wins.

We love the theme of the Mighty Finger slot games, and they don't disappoint here.
We understand why they had to make the changes they did in order not to be a direct copy of Starburst, but we can't recommend it as much as the original as the RTP is lower for the same top max win.
But we still had plenty of fun in this Call of Kora slot on mobile, with its quirky main character, pretty gemstones, and space theme.
Those expanded wilds can certainly be effective, even if it doesn't have the kind of momentum that will keep you playing for longer than 100 spins.
One for when your budget is running a little low and you want to try something a little different, not unlike the Kaiju slot game by Elk Studios.
