How to play Cash Wizard mobile slot
The Cash Wizard slot started it’s life as Bally’s hit land-based game and it comes with a bonanza of magical bonus features.
First of all, we just want to respond to Kimberly Cohn, the Bally director of game development, when she stated: “Everyone loves the character. Players just love how happy the game is.”
The second part we will agree to. This Cash Wizard mobile slot is a happy game, with lots of friendly little voices talking to you through the bonus features and a background of an enchanted rainbow coloured wood. It has high card symbols and gems, potions and magic… It is a happy little game.
The wizard however looks like something an 8 year old created in Microsoft Paint back in 1990. Why put so much detail in the surrounding symbols but then make the wizard so… bland? Especially as Cash Wizard mobile slot machine is, if you don’t consider the wizard, the most good looking of the Bally mobile games?
Still, it’s such a small part of the game, you won’t even notice once you start hitting bonus feature after bonus feature.
The downside of the Cash Wizard slot
Well, for one, it’s fairly low variance. But that’s not really a downside so much as a personal choice.
In the land-based and online slot version of this game you can choose to turn on or off the bonus bet option. This bonus bet basically ‘buys’ you two additional bonus features; the Wizard Wild and the Mystery Wheel. That means that the starting minimum bet is a little higher for a 30 payline slot, at 0.50 instead of 0.30, and only 60% of your stake is actually calculated in your wins, which may, at first put people off.
Equally, in the mobile slot Cash Wizard you can’t turn off this option, it’s all calculated within your bet. However there are a few very good reasons why you shouldn’t care.

Bonus Features
Wild Symbols: Replaces all other symbols except the invisible ink, the free games scatters and the potion symbol. You'll recognise it, it's the logo with 'wild' written on it.
Wizard Wild Bonus: This is randomly triggered and got us some of the biggest wins of the game, as with no multipliers anywhere to be seen, you are dependent on 5 of a kind wins for the big pay off.
The wizard will randomly show up on the reels and turn symbols into wilds. Usually you get two or three, but if you are lucky you may even get four or five.
Mystery Wheel Bonus: Again randomly triggered, don't think that this will make it hard to find. That Mystery Wheel will have your head spinning the amount of times it shows up.
Which is nice as here you can get anything from 5 to 20 free spins, up to 40 times your bet on the wheel or 200 times your bet if you hit the top of three jackpots. Not too shabby for a simple click me game where all you have to do is to stop the wheel.
Free Spins: The mystery wheel isn't the only place to get free spins. If you hit three free game scatters anywhere on the screen you'll trigger 15 free spins. Get three or more during these and you'll re-trigger the feature - which we've done a couple of times ourselves. Not common, but not impossible.
Because they hit often, you can't depend on this feature for the big wins. If we hit 30x our bet we were amazed, with a 20x our bet a good win and a 10x our bet most common.
Magic Potion Bonus Feature: Three potion symbols on reels 1, 2 and 3 triggers a click me feature which is frankly, mostly, unimpressive. A top up more than any chance for big wins.
Here you'll select from 7 potion bottles until you hit a cursed option. Of course, you could hit no cursed potion, open all seven bottles and then... win an additional bonus value of 100. Not bad, but we've not see it.
Invisible Ink Feature: The writing feather and parchment on reel three will trigger a simple instant cash prize. Just click on it to reveal about 4x to 5x your bet.
Cash Wizard Review Conclusion
You are unlikely to walk away a millionaire from the Cash Wizard mobile slot, but with a nice jackpot of 200 times your bet and features that hit often, you won't notice as the happy smiling wizard keeps you happily spinning for hours on end.
The return to player rate is too low to make this a truly great low variance slot, but still good fun to play.
