A classic Microgaming game with 5 reels and 20 paylines, the Cashville mobile slot is rich with big wins, just not with big thrills.
Launched originally in 2005, the Cashville slot looks… dated. You can’t hide it. They might have added crystal clear graphics in order to try and make it stand out on the smaller screen, but it’s still an old video slot.
And Cashville suffers because of it, with gaudy symbols of coloured cash, and four tycoons who you automatically want to punch in the face for being so smarmy.
OK, so we’re not even sure that even back in 2005 we would have liked the theme of this Microgaming slot machine.
Which isn’t exactly the high life, but is a sweet enough big win jackpot to tempt most of us into having a few spins.
And the really good news is that you can trigger it at any point during the base game, because most of these 5 of a kind wins are pretty impressive.
That said, the 100,000 cash max win (or 500,000 coins) can be won by hitting… 5 wilds on each of the 20 paylines?
Holy crap. That’s about as likely as we are to strike actual oil in the Texan dessert, armed with just a shovel, and some good will.
It’s not like the wild comes with a multiplier or anything, it’s just really good 5 of a kind wins. But getting a screen full is going to be a one in a billion occurrence.
And that’s it. No free spins, no fancy gamble feature, no multiple levels.
Just three scatters where you’ll pick one of our four billionaires:
Once there, you’ll get a pick of instant cash prizes. Usually you’ll win about 30 to 50 times your bet, with a max amount of 225 times your bet.
Which isn’t bad, but the click me game doesn’t come quite often enough to keep us on the edge of our seat.
But here’s the thing; we knew before we even started playing the Cashville slot that it’s an old fashioned machine, both in theme and gameplay. So what did we expect, really?
Yet we missed the free spins and the thrills. If we wanted simple, we would probably play on one of the classic Microgaming casino slots like Break da Bank, or go for a 9 payline slot with free spins, such as the Thunderstruck slot game or the Agent Jane Blonde slot machine.
But if you like simple slot games, and don’t mind the theme, then by all means. Enter the Cashville club and add a star to this review.

Wilds: The big gilded 'w' symbol is wild and replaces all other symbols except bonus.
Bonus and Click Me Feature: Get 3, 4 or 5 scatter bonus symbols anywhere on screen and you'll trigger a simple bonus game.
You'll first pick from one of the four billionaires then you'll get to pick again:
You'll get more picks if you trigger this bonus with more scatters, but we've only gotten 3 scatters ourselves, so one pick each time.
The Cashville mobile slot has big 5 of a kind win and the occasional thrill with a click me mobile game.
It's a little unsophisticated for us, especially as we are not found of the theme, but if you like your video slots simple there are worse choices out there.
There are also better choices. Like the Stickers Touch slot, for example.
Cough. Just saying.
