Meet Bob. He’s a nomad, a wanderer, and he is looking for a wild time and huge prizes in this Caveman Bob mobile slot.
We have to applaud Relax Gaming’s inventive theme in this one. It’s not like the whole idea of Prehistoric man running wild with mammoths and animals is anything new; from the Boulder Bucks slot to King Kong Fury by NextGen, you get the general feel.
But what makes this inventive is the fact that they give the Bob character three locations to explore. Those locations include the Oasis, where he fishes happily and easily (lower volatile), to his home cave where he catches wild pigs (medium variance) to the highest mountains where he chases huge dino eggs (high volatility).
Like many of these multi-level games, you have to give it some time to unlock all three. Like a fair while. Which is why the Caveman Bob slot review loses points.
Because we had to play for over two hours to unlock all three, and mostly we had to stick to the Oasis to make sure we had the cash to do it. But if you want big wins you need to head to the mountains, or at least the cave.
Reason being that there are no free spins, but three random features that can trigger at any time. Of those three the Mammoth feature is the best because you get Mega Symbols, and the more dangerous the location the bigger the Mammoths.
These are one of the highest paid symbols and it’s amazing to see 4×4 mega symbols land when you are excavating on the mountain top.
How do you unlock all the locations in the Caveman Bob online slot? By catching those three random features often. And they do trigger often, but rarely giving you the high paying Mammoths or The Hand of Bob where one low paying symbol is changed to a high paying one for one spin.
Mostly you get the wheel of fortune and win maybe 1x to 5x your bet. Yes, you can win something like 50x your bet, but it’s so rare we didn’t see it in our gameplay.
And that’s ok because this feature is all about easy little wins, but you can help feel like maybe, there should be a shortcut to climbing the mountain.
We enjoyed the Caveman Bob slot, but much like IGT’s Nordic Heroes game, it’s frustrating having to wait so long to get the full impact of this machine.

Random Wilds: There are three environments in this Caveman Bob slot machine, and in each have their own random wild feature.
Random Features: In any environment, Bob will trigger one of three possible features.
How to choose your environment: When Bob is in one of the three locations, he will catch a hog, fish a salmon or crack a pterodactyl egg.
When this happens, mostly, he triggers one of the 3 random features above. Every once in a while, he finds a map and travels to one of the other locations.
He always starts in the cave and then unlocks the Oasis and the Mountain. Each of these has different variance levels.
Once you've travelled and experienced all three locations, you'll be able to choose between any of the three locations, much like in the Orient Express slot game.
This Caveman Bob slot on mobile is clever, it's inventive, and it's fun to play.
It has a few issues. You get one of the three random features more often than not, and it's frustrating to rarely see that stampede of Mammoths that can change the size of your wallet.
When you finally are able to choose between the three locations, the game opens up, allowing you to choose the volatility of your slot in a natural, wonderfully inventive way.
By changing locations, you feel like you are choosing between 3 real money games, whilst still enjoying similar mechanics that are fun.
Certainly better than just getting to choose the volatility of the bonus games like in Temple Of Treasure Megaways or the Dragon Slot by Leander Games.
