In-game bonus features

Wilds: The Route 666 Symbol is the wild and will substitute for all regular symbols to create a win. They only show up on reels 2 to 6.

Avalanching Wins and Stone Blocks: At the start of the game, between 3 and 24 stone blocks are present, blocking the number of wins. This gives you up to 46,656 ways to win.

All winning symbols will explode, and any stone blocks directly to the left, right, below, or above will explode. New symbols will then come in to fill the empty spaces.

Feature Wheel: If all stone blocks are destroyed in one round, you'll be awarded the feature wheel. You'll spin the wheel and win:

• 4 free spins
• 7 free spins
• The bonus trail
• The Super Bonus trail

If you win the free spins, you have the option to gamble your free spins for a chance to win the bonus trail. You get the better feature if you gamble and win; if you lose, you go back to the main game.

The chance of winning the bonus trail on 4 free spins is 33%, and the chance of winning the bonus trail on 7 free spins is 52%.

Free Spins: If you win the free spins in the feature wheel, you'll play your spin as usual. However, some of the stone blocks have bombs, and if you get a win next to that block, it will cover the entire reel and transform all the symbols on the reel into the same kind.

Bonus Trail: This is a broad game with 39 tiles - 22 along the main trail and 8, 8, and 1, respectively. The tiles can be:

• Normal Tiles: A multiplier of your bet size is won.
• Silver Truck Tiles: triggers a special action
• Golden Truck Tiles: triggers a persistent special action, or the collect all feature

You get 3 fuel cans as you roll around the grid - so three goes. If you go all the way around the board, you get a +1 can. If you land on any of the symbols with fuel cans, the 3 units are refilled.

The Silver Truck Tiles can award:

• Cash award: 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, or 50x your bet
• Sniper: targets 3-6 normal tiles and multiplies the value of each of those by 2.
• Payer: reveal a value between 3 and 10 and adds those value to each normal tile.
• Two Knife: reveals a value of either 50, 75, 100, 150, or 200 and adds this value to 2-4 randomly picked normal tiles.
• Refuel: Fuel cans are placed on 2-4 normal tiles with no fuel cans.
• Shoot Back: Your current win is added 1-3 normal tiles.
• Collect all: Sums up the values from all normal tiles and adds the sum to the total win.
• Persistent Sniper: like the Sniper, but acts at every end of turn.
• Persistent Payer: like the Payer, but acts at every end of turn.
• Persistent Two-Knife: like the Two-Knife, but acts at every end of the turn on one tile.

The Gold Truck Tiles can award any of the persistent special action or the collect all feature only.

Each normal tile has a cap of 1,000x your bet, and the bonus trail has a cap of 50,000x your bet win overall.

Super Bonus Trail: Same as the normal bonus trail, but the silver truck in the fourth position is replaced by a golden truck.

Buy Bonus: At any point, you can buy entry into the bonus features.

• For 50x your bet: buy entry into the feature wheel at 96.5%
• For 90x your bet: buy entry into the bonus trail at 96.5%
• For 250x your bet: buy entry into the super bonus trail at 96.5%

Dead Riders Trail Review Conclusion

We loved this Dead Riders Trail slot game by Relax Gaming, but we have to give you a little warning if you plan on playing: this can be a hard game.

For the most part, you will win enough in the base game to feel like you are getting value for money, but all the big wins are in the Bonus and Super Bonus Trail. It's literally in the name of the game.
