With every single win, you get a new surprise in this Diamond Inferno slot as the reels expand, the scatters get richer, and the multipliers get bigger.
You open up the reels and see 5×3 set up with just a few extra rows at the top that you can’t play straight away. You start with 20 paylines and classic slot symbols – Dice, Bars, 7s and the Star as the highest-paid symbols, and then Ace to J as the low paying ones.
The background is burning in a fiery inferno constantly, reminding you that there is more here than meets the eye. And indeed, the moment you get your first win, you’ll soon see what we mean.
Because this may start with 20 payline, but with each win, you unlock a new row of symbols and 10 more paylines. After 3 wins in a row, you’ll have a 50 payline slot machine and 6 rows of symbols over 5 reels.
There’s no free spins or mini-games in this Diamond Inferno slot game. But every win gives you a free re-spin of the reels and expands the slot by one row.
And that’s not all that happens. Once you’ve fully opened up this mobile slot into 6 rows of symbols, every win after that will give you an added multiplier. It starts at 1x, but then you climb to 2x all the way to 10x.
So how many wins in a row do you need to get in order to get to the top multiplier? 8 wins in a row. Not easy, by all means, but by win 3 you’ve got 50 paylines instead of 20 to play with, so it is easier to get a win.
So what else makes this special if respins and expanded reels don’t do it for you? How about the fact that just one scatter pays. But how much it pays depends on which row it lands.
If it lands on row one of this Diamond Inferno mobile slot, you only get 1x your bet. If you get a scatter on row 6, on the other hand, it pays 20x your bet. That’s the burning diamond symbols that keep things lively, and one of the reasons we gave this slot review 4 stars.
Look, this Diamond Inferno slot isn’t particularly complicated, and it doesn’t razzle-dazzle with the graphics. But it’s fun, it has one big mechanic that keeps you at the edge of your seat, and you can win more than 2,000x your bet on a lucky spin.
If you are looking for an online game that has all the hallmarks of a classic Microgaming machine (think the Bars and Stripes slot or the Avalon review) you may find yourself right at home in this Diamond Inferno.

Wild: The burning wild is the wild symbol and will replace all other symbols except the scatter.
Respin and Expanding Reels: Everything single win gives you a free respin. You start with a 5x3 reel and with every win, the play area expands by one row, up to 6 rows. With each new row, 10 more lines become available.
Multiplier Trail: Once you opened up the reel in 6 rows, on every further re-spin and win the multiplier will increase. It starts at 1x, then climbs to 2x, 3x, 5x and then 10x.
Scatter Pay: The blue burning diamond is the scatter symbol and only shows up on reels 2, 3 and 4. Each scatter pays out individually.
The scatter symbols cannot be substituted for the wild symbol and it does not need to appear on a payline to win.
We didn't think that we'd like Diamond Inferno slot on mobile, but once we started spinning and started to get those expanded reels, we were hooked.
The theme is a little simple, but there's plenty of small surprises and details we loved. Like how the scatters pay individually depending on where they land.
Or how it doesn't matter you don't get free spins, because if you get enough wins, you can feel like you've played 10 free spins worth of wins.
