What is this mobile slot about?

This Doom of Egypt slot shares a lot in common with it’s Pharaoh – it’s rich, and much like the undead, it’s game mechanics will come back to haunt you.

Undead slot themes are not as common as you might think, yet those that do exist don’t manage to capture the creepy and scary nature of these monsters quite like this Doom of Egypt mobile slot.

Set in an ancient tomb, the music makes you feel like you are one jump scare away from getting sanded to death, whilst the three undead lords who rule as the high paying symbols may just be staring right into your soul.

The Doom of Egypt slot is beautiful

Play’n GO slots online have a style that is hard to beat, it can be both realistic yet with little touches of animations that remind you that this is (after all) just a casino game.

Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of horror, this is more creepy than horrific, and really not very different from your usual Egypt themed slots.

In fact, it shares a lot of symbols and feels like another well-known Play’n GO game the Book of Dead slot. It shares… ALOT.

10 paylines and 5,000 times your bet top win

The scarab is both the wild and the scatter symbol. Get 3 anywhere on the reel, and you’ll get 10 free spins.

During the Doom of Egypt slot bonus games, one symbol will act like an expanding scatter: that is, it will expand to cover the whole reel and pay like a scatter – so you don’t have to have them on a payline from left to right to get a win.

This makes the possibility of getting 5 reels full of the high paying symbol, and that 5,000 times your bet top win, a good possibility, and one we can’t wait to experience.

That said, it is essentially a copy of Book of Dead and the grand-daddy original Book of Ra Deluxe. Just with slightly better graphics and a creepier theme.

At least the Rise of Merlin slot had an original idea in its animations, but we still think you’ll have a lot of fun playing on Doom of Egypt if you like simple and volatile real money games.

Closing thoughts

We had to give this Doom of Egypt slot review at least 4 stars because we gave all it's other brothers and sisters at least that much if not more.

The reason why we took away that extra star is that whilst the theme is very well done, it feels a little bit like a cash grab.

"Book of Dead did well, so let's just do another Egyptian slot with the exact same mechanics. People won't notice."

That said, there are a million copies of the original Book of Ra slot out there, so if you are going to play, might as well do it on a modern machine, with a great RTP and some cool animations.
