A modern game set in ancient Egypt, this Eye of the Storm slot is as beautiful as it’s expanding wilds.
Ancient Egyptian slot games are a dime a dozen, but we have to admit that this volatile slot caught our attention. The subtle animations in the background make you think you are sitting and watching a living breathing city, where the Pharaohs could descend from their throne and walk the earth.
And she really does in the form of the wild symbol on the central 3 reels. She expands each and every time she can create a win, allowing a quick flow to the base game that many high variance slot games lack.
Reel Kingdom didn’t impress us all that much with their Book of Kingdom slot, so boy did they surprise us when we started playing to write this Eye of the Storm slot review.
At first, this video slot seems simple enough. You place a bet from the minimum 0.10 a spin, up to a maximum bet of 250.
But then things start to get interesting when the beautiful Pharaoh expands and gives you wins on this 10 payline slot machine with its 96.71% RTP.
But what you are after is 3 scatter symbols which will trigger 12 free spins, only now the wild is more than your companion, it’s your best friend.
Because depending on how often she shows up, she’ll make the reels of this Eye of the Storm slot richer and give you more free spins.
Why is that? Because whenever the wild lands on the free spins she can add +1, +2 or a +3 free spins to your total. And that’s not the best part.
The best part is that every wild will increase the levels of this Eye of the Storm slot bonus. What happens is that the high paying symbols will upgrade.
So the fan will turn to an Ankh, the Ankh will turn to a beetle etc… By level 6 you should have only the Eye of Horus as the highest paying symbols, not unlike the War of Gods slot.
It’s a whole load of fun to watch, and even though the top win here is only 500x your total stake per spin, we’ve seen win after win getting us close to 300x our bet.
It’s not quite as impressive as hitting a 5,000x your bet win on the Book of Dead slot in one spin, but it’s not less exciting when those richer reels and expanded wilds team up to give you win after win, free spin after free spin.

Expanding Wild: Cleopatra is the wild symbol and appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. If it can create a win, the wild will expand to cover the whole reel.
Scatters and Free Spins: The Pyramid is the scatter symbol and 3 or more will trigger 12 free spins. Whenever a wild lands on screen it increases the level of the free spins by 1 - in other words, it upgrades the lowest paid of the high paying symbol to the next one on the paytable.
If you get 3 or more scatters you'll re-trigger the free spins. But getting the wild also adds to it.
We really have very little to complain about this Eye of the Storm mobile slot. With just 10 paylines it's easy to see the wins, even if the wins don't seem that impressive at first.
But this is one of the few mobile slot machines that might let you win 10 or more spins with 100x or 500x your bet, it's easy to see how you could get enough wins to see you through to one big celebration.
We love the expanding wilds and we love the free spins with those levels getting progressively richer and richer. It's not a complicated real money slot, but it doesn't have to be in order to get a 4-star slot review.
