This Gems Gems Gems slot lets you play 4 slots for the price of 2 in a multi-reel game that isn’t half as impressive as you might remember.
This is, apparently, a popular land-based slot machine by Williams. Personally, we’ve only ever played it as the Gems Gems Gems online slot, but within a few spins, we could tell this has a ‘vegas’ style to it.
And we don’t mean that in a good ‘showgirls, party and luxury casinos’ kind of way but an ‘it’s going to suck you dry, and quickly’ way.
Mostly this is because the RTP of the Gems Gems Gems slot is a low 93.93%, not that uncommon in brick and mortar casinos, but at online casinos you expect more – we rarely play on anything less than 95% to 96%.
That’s the big appeal here and you can see why it’s popular in Vegas where gamblers do just that but have to run back and forth.
It has 4 reel sets, each with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 paylines, giving you a total of 80 paylines to play with, all for the low minimum bet of 0.40 a spin.
So not bad considering, even if the symbols look even more dated than it’s 2009 look deserves – think original Da Vinci’s Diamonds by IGT.
It’s not a bad slot look but it doesn’t pop out of the screen. That said, the transfer feature, where any stacked wilds or scatter symbols on the bottom larger reel transfers to the other 3 is pretty useful to get those wins.
Add the low RTP and you won’t be seeing many wins all that often.
Mostly you are looking at catching as many scatter as you can so you get that 12x multiplier on all the wins… but you very rarely do, unless the transfer feature workings in your favour.
All in all, we can see why this is a popular slot in far-off casinos where you are used to just taking a couple of big spins here and there hoping to catch a big win.
But if it’s longevity you are looking for – or even you a better return to player rate, you are much better off playing almost any other NextGen slot, or maybe a new Microgaming game.

Stacked Wilds and Transfers: The slots' logo is wild and can be used to replace any other symbol on a payline to create a win.
If any wilds land in the main reel at the bottom of the screen, these are then transferred to the 3 mini reels at the top.
Scatters and Free Spins: All you need is 3 scatters in one one of the four reels to trigger the free spins. You'll then be taken to a different game where you play a single 20 payline slot machine.
However, now you'll have a multiplier. How big a multiplier depends on how many scatters triggered the free spins.
If you get a further 3 scatters during the free spins, you'll re-trigger 10 free spins with the multiplier staying as it is.
This Gems Gems Gems mobile slot is as repetitive as its name, but you are playing 4 slot machines at once, so you don't really want complications here.
The main problem is that with a low RTP and hard to catch scatters, the excitement quickly dies down when you realise that most of the wins will maybe buy you a cubic zirconia rather than the rubies.
Unless, of course, you get the big multipliers in the free spins, at which point you'll be wondering why we gave this slot review 2 stars.
But other than the very lucky few, we suspect most of you will probably agree with us and go play on something like Joker Gems slot instead.
Or you can play Gems Gems Gems at one of these mobile casinos:
