Is it a video slot? Is it a classic slot? No! It’s Hot Fruits! Another confused iGaming2Go mobile slot!
What do we mean by that? Sometimes we wonder if iGaming2Go woke up one day and went “Hey, we like slots, we like mobile, lets create some! How? Who cares! We will find a way!“. We like their quirky little spirit, and you can’t deny that they got the mobile part down pat. Hot fruits, like all other iGaming2Go mobile slots, works well on all devices.
Hot Fruits mobile slot is in fact a far prettier than it’s big sisters Money Bee and Anubis. Probably because this is meant to look like a classic fruity, but with 5 reels instead of 3 reels. The simple graphics means it bears better under scrutiny. The sounds are still as average as ever however.
But the game play is… odd? Again, we can’t decide where we stand on this one. We think we like it slightly better than Money Bee and Anubis, but that’s because this is not really a mobile video slot. With 5 paylines, no special features and only scatter symbol for company, it’s probably competing with classic slots far more than video slots. So by default, and because you don’t get a huge amount of choice in the classic slot range, Hot Fruits bears up fairly well.
But we still can’t help but feel that Seven’s, by the same provider and with only 3 reels, brings far more entertainment. Scatter wins are infrequent, the red cherries is the only fruit that hits with any frequency and though the wins are certainly there, you never really feel that you are close to getting a jackpot. The betting range is a little nicer than Seven’s mobile slot, giving you the option of only betting 10 pennies if you are feeling conservative, but on the other hand, the max bet only goes up to 5 in cash, which misses out on the bigger gambler.
Not quite a classic slot, not quite a video slot, Hot Fruits is better than some past iGaming2Go productions, but too confused to get more than the 3 stars. The frequent big wins make it worth a few spins by classic slot players.

Scatter: The gold star is the scatter symbol and 3 or more pays in any position.
Gamble feature: Is the card red, is it black? Guess right and you'll double your win. Not a feature you need to use often in this game as the wins tend to be over your bet most of the time, but useful from time to time.
With a serious case of identity crisis, Hot Fruits mobile slot just can't quite figure out what kind of mobile player it's trying to satisfy.
Some decent wins and a slightly higher return to player rate than Anubis and Money Bee at 94.4% makes it stand out just a little higher in the iGaming2Go pack.
One for classic slot players than are tired of the 3 reel variety and want to 'slum it' in the mobile video slot world for a few reliable spins and some reliable wins.
Or you can play Hot Fruits at one of these mobile casinos:
