With a little Leprechaun throwing you luck on every spin, you’d think you’d be a little luckier in this Irish Pot Luck slot by NetEnt.
Ok, straight away let’s talk casino slot theme: this is poor by comparison to some of the other great NetEnt games.
Just look at the Finn’s Golden Tavern slot, a great subversion of the Irish slot theme, and then look at this – a 5×3 10 paylines game with shamrocks and a standard red-bearded leprechaun sitting by some green, green, hills.
It’s not bad, but the graphics feel a little dated, so it’s not good either, so already this Irish Pot Luck slot review is off to a bad start.
On every spin the little signpost will spin and land a multiplier. Granted one of those multipliers can be x1, but then you also get x2, x3 and x5, which goes a long way towards stretching those paytable wins from good to awesome.
Then you have the leprechaun himself, who will dig deep into his bag of gold and randomly shower the reels with extra wilds, scatters or jackpot symbols.
Mostly wilds, but sometimes just enough extra of the bonus symbols to trigger the two main Irish Pot Luck slot bonuses that will have you stick around for a little bit longer.
The free spins have some good wins, there’s no doubt about it. Much like in the Gonzo’s Quests Megaways slot, the multipliers increase during your 10 bonus spin so at a minimum you win 2x the paytable amount, but up to 15x.
It’s fun to watch, but equally frustrating when you don’t get enough wins or multipliers to warrant the wait for the bonus.
Because ultimately the biggest wins in the game come in the three jackpots worth 20x, 100x and 5,000x your bet. This is triggered in the Wheel of Jackpots feature where you spin to try and get to the inner wheels and the bigger prizes.
It’s huge fun to watch but can take it’s time to show up, so don’t go chasing it.
Ultimately Irish Pot Luck online slot is an unremarkable Irish themed casino game, but good enough with a big top win.

This can happen on any spin.
The Pot Luck feature: Randomly the Leprechaun may random give you -
Scatters and Free Spins: 3 scatter symbols appear on the reels in the main game will trigger 10 free spins. The multiplier values are also now higher, with the minimum win being 2x.
Jackpot Wheel feature: 3 Jackpot symbols appearing on the reels will trigger this feature. Each of the 3 tires of the wheel is divided into the sector and each sector has the following prizes:
The further down the wheels you go, the bigger the prize, with the middle prize being the mega jackpot.
You can win up to 5,000x your bet in this Irish Pot Luck slot, so the gold coins are hidden within, but in a jackpot game that's as hard to hit as the one in Mega Fortune Dreams slot.
The theme lacks the sharpness or the innovation we've gotten used to from NetEnt - this all feels very safe, without having actually made any particular effort.
Giving you a possible multiplier on every spin does add a little excitement and the random features remind us of some of our favourite Red Tiger Games.
All in all, good enough to play, not good enough to remember further down the line.
