The search for the golden fleece promises riches untold, but you’ll have to be willing to stick it out, with this Jason’s Quest mobile slot.
Now, we should warn you, this Genesis slot game gets better the longer you play it.
Why is that a warning rather than an advantage? Because it starts slow. The base game itself is pretty enough to distract you for a while though, as you spin on the background of a huge sail ship, with mythical legends taking you deep into ancient Greece.
The main draw of this video slot is that the longer you play, the better the return to player rate – meaning more impressive wins.
This isn’t done by some hidden mathematical calculations in the background; much like the Thunderstruck II slot, the longer you play, the more bonus features you’ll unlock, each with it’s own secrets and multipliers.
We’ve specified below what you get at the end of this Jason’s Quest slot, but needless to say, Level 2 is when this machine starts to get interesting, and by level 3 this is easily a 4 star slot review.
The problem is that it takes at least 2 hours of solid playing to get to level 3. Which isn’t going to work if you’re not the patient type.
So your first 40 minutes are a little… so-so. On the bright side, and if the slot is playing along, you shouldn’t lose a whole load.
This isn’t a big hit slot machine like WMS Zeus slot, for example. This game is here to keep you playing for as long as possible, eager to show you each of it’s secret, if you only stick around long enough.
We had to stick it out because we have to write this Jason’s Quest slot review, we suspect that most of you out there might not have quite the patience to go the whole way.
But that’s ok. Bold explorers will enjoy these easy playing five reels full of mythical monsters, whilst the rest of you can go bonkers in the far more lively Machine Gun Unicorn slot by the same provider.

Wild Symbol: The mermaid is the wild symbol and will replace all other symbols on screen, except gems and scatters.
Scatters and Bonus Features: The golden fleece is the scatter symbol and pays when 2 or more are anywhere on screen. It also triggers the bonus features when you get 3 or more.
Which bonus feature depends on which level you are at. As you spin in the base game, pink gems will show up randomly. Collect 15 and you get to level 2, collect 30 and you get to level 3.
Give yourself an hour to get to each level to avoid disappointment, though you do tend to reach level 2 a little quicker.

Level 3 bonus features:
Which is the best feature to pick? By level 3 you might be wondering which is the most profitable feature. Personally, we found the Hydra bonus fairly reliable - if your budget is going down, it can generally be dependent on to give you 20x to 40x your bet.
That said, there is no doubt that the Skeleton Army provides the biggest win, especially if the mystery symbol turns into stacked wilds across the screen. It's more hit and miss, but brings a certain thrill.
The Cyclops might not be as hard hitting, but tends to get re-triggered easier, meaning more free spins, and more chances at wins.
This is not the first of it's kind for Genesis Gaming, they have an almost identical slot Ragnarok which concentrates on the tales of the fallen norse gods, rather than Greek mythology.
Personally, we preferred the Jason's Quest mobile slot. Maybe we simply got luckier, maybe the theme made it easier to stand the long journey to the bigger wins.
Either way, this is for patient gamblers who like have the game unfold before their eyes, slowly, gracefully, but not necessarily always very lively.Play Now at Guts »
