How to play Magic Castle mobile slot

This Magic Castle mobile slot, or Mystical Castle slot if you live in Canada, is IGT doing what they do best, in an old-fashioned kind of way.

Writing this Magic Castle slot review was difficult.

Which is a shame because on paper this should really work.

Ironically, the Magic Castle slot lacks magic

Sure, on paper the features look good, but in reality most of these Magic Castle bonus games fall flat.

The wild wolf and wild cat symbols show up rarely, and when they do, barely gets you 10x to 20x your bet wins.

And sure, in theory you could get a 10x multiplier if enough Leonora wilds show up on the reels, but usually you get 1 symbol and about 2x or 3x multiplier.

Ok, but hardly worth going home to shout about.

Granted, we had great fun with the free spins where we got about 75x our bet. But by that point Magic Castle video slot had lost it’s charm.

Leonora Wild: The mistress of this castle stands two symbols high and is wild symbol that can appear anywhere on the reels.

When she appears, if a win is possible, she will give you a multiplier. How big a multiplier? That depends on how many wilds you see on the screen:

• wild on 1 reel: 2x to 10x
• wilds on 2 reels: 3x to 10x
• wilds on 3 reels: 4x to 10x
• wilds on 5 reels: 6x to 10x

A nice bonus is that if the bonus symbols are also on screen and trigger the free spins, the number of free spins are also multiplied.

It's highly unlikely, but you never know. Mostly you only see one wild on screen anyway.

Familiar Upgrade Feature: Leonora's two familiars are the wild wolf and wild cat.

These are normal symbols as normal, except on reel 5 they sometimes show up as wild. If they do, all the other cat and wolf symbols will turn wild.

Magic Castle Review Conclusion

Magic Castle is not a bad slot. In fact, we'd argue it's no worse than some of the iconic (read old) IGT games like Kitty Glitter or Hexbreaker 2.

But at least those have a loyal following that might entice players to give a spin.

The Magic Castle online slot doesn't have that kind of audience, and honestly we couldn't bring ourselves to give it any more stars just because its an IGT mobile game.

It's ok, just not as good as newer games like Family Guy or Cleopatra Plus.
