The Mighty Munching Melons slot is a 5×3 fruit machine with 10 paylines, a minimum bet of 0.20 a spin and one main bonus feature: 3 respins to catch instant cash symbols and collect symbols or special features. But is a max win of 3,000x your bet worth the high volatility?
The first thing you’ll notice about this Reel Kingdom Mighty Munching Melons slot game is that it looks a little old-fashioned. We weren’t hugely impressed by the graphics, but at the end of the day, it’s meant to be a fruit slot, and from that perspective, it certainly matches.
The second thing you’ll notice is a very generous paytable – the orange symbol alone is worth 1,000x your bet if you find 5 or more on a payline.
Don’t get too excited, though. Just because this has 10 paylines doesn’t mean you’ll win 10,000 in cash – the max win here isn’t even that.
So why should you play? For the bonus feature, of course. Here, you’ll get 3 respins to collect as many symbols as possible, and a Pacman-style melon can eat away symbols, meaning you can win an infinite amount… or up to the Mighty Munching Melons max win of 3,000 your bet.
There’s only one bonus in this video slot online, and you trigger it by catching 3 melons.
Here, you get 3 respins, much like in Divine Fortune Megaways or the Pigeon Hut slot. The difference is that the melon symbol can show up and eat the cash, collecting it along the way, making more room for more symbols.
This bonus never needs to end. If the melon collects ghost melon symbols, you can even trigger special features, which allow you to collect even more cash on the reels.
Unfortunately, one great feature can’t save this Mighty Munching Melons review.
And it is a great feature. The bonus leaves you wanting more, and if you press the superbet option, you are twice as likely to catch it. Which you need because otherwise, you are playing a standard 10 payline fruity.
Not that this is bad, by any means, but the graphics haven’t even been updated enough to make this stand out – unlike Fruit Shop Frenzy.
All in all, it doesn’t get more stars because it’s forgettable, not because it’s bad. If you enjoy simple games with one big feature, you might agree to disagree and have a good time on this Mighty Munching Melons slot machine.

The Mighty Munching Melons slot on mobile has one great bonus feature and a decent paytable. Perhaps, it deserves a three rather than 2-star review, but honestly, with the huge variety of choices out there, we couldn't bring ourselves to give it much more.
If you do decide to check it out, read the paytable, as some of these machines can come with a low RTP of 94.03% instead of the standard 96.05%. The paytable may be good, but if the odds are against you, this Reel Kingdom slot won't ever pay.
Not bad, not awful, just a little forgettable. Try for yourself at any of our top Reel Kingdom casinos or perhaps give the Big Bass Splash review a read, a much better Reel Kingdom game.
