Enter a retro-futuristic world, where all is bright and beautiful… until the Robots come and take over this Planet Fortune mobile slot.
We love a good casino game with a brilliant theme, and whilst this might not seem that brilliant, you really need to load this Play’n GO slot to appreciate all the details.
Like the flying cars moving across the background of this 5×4 reels with 40 paylines. Or the 1960s Barbarella feel of the main character, with the cheerful robot as the wild.
This beautiful pastel landscape soon turns dark when you land 3 wild robots on the reels and trigger 10 free spins.
Then, the beautiful city is turned to rubble and smoke, as the robots go from friendly green-eyed servants to red-eyed revolutionaries.
Those three wilds will now move from the right to the left of the screen, much like the walking wilds in Elk Studios Wild Seas, or more famously, Jack n the Beanstalk by NetEnt.
Better yet, every future wild that lands on the five reels also stays sticky and starts walking.
There’s no multipliers, so 5 symbol wins is your best bet to get big wins.
Which, you’d think, means those walking robot wilds would provider, but actually, most of the time, you get maybe 30x your bet every 100 spins or so.
Fun, and a nice top up, but hardly worth killing the human race over.
Thats because this Planet Fortune online slot comes with stacked symbols that stand either 2, 3 or 4 high.
Combine that with the Magnetic Mayhem bonus game feature, where two or three reels join and spin Mega symbols, and you’ll soon understand why this is called ‘Planet Fortune’.
It’s not a perfect phone slot; you need to be a little careful with your budget as it can be a hungry machine.
But with wins of 2,500 times your bet, it beats the likes of Twin Spin Deluxe or the Phantom of the Opera which came out in the same month.

Wilds: The golden robot with the green eyes is the wild symbol and can be used to replace any other symbol. However, it doesn't show up that often, as you need 3 to trigger the free spins.
The Robot Revolution Free Games: 3 Wilds over any of the 5 reels will trigger 10 Planet Fortune free spins.
Here, all wild symbols will move from the right to the left of the screen (eventually dropping off) on each of the 10 spins.
You also get more wilds, with one or two generally added on each turn.
The wild symbol is now a golden robot with red eyes instead.
Stacked Symbols: The high paying symbols; the lady, the man, and two alien rocks, come stacked 2, 3 or 4 symbols high over all the reels.
Magnetic Mayhem: Two or three adjacent reels will stick together and spin 2x2 or 3x3 mega symbols.
The old-timey sci-fi look of this Planet Fortune mobile slot might put some people off, but we liked it - its certainly better than Judge Dredd slot and that has years of comic book history to draw upon.
The sounds were sufficiently atmospheric, though a little annoying if playing for longer than 20 minutes, and the graphics beautifully put together.
Personally, we loved the walking wilds in the robot revolution as they moved along the reels with the golden arms, bringing more and more of their brethren to the spins.
Even though, technically, the Magnetic Mayhem is what, ultimately, makes this a 4-star slot game review thanks to some superb stacked and mega symbol wins.
