Welcome to the Prime Zone mobile slot! Which is like the Danger Zone, only with a little bit more of a wild side.
We had little to no expectations about this Prime Zone slot game, especially with its classic look. Set on the backdrop of a neon 80s Miami, you’ll find 7s, Diamonds and card suits all brightly lit by the purple glow of the frame of the game.
It looks nice, but much like any other 80s inspired game – think the NetEnt Twin Spin Deluxe slot or the Spinsane game – it’s a classic look that only impresses if the mechanics of the game are any good.
Good news. The mechanics of this Prime Zone slot are very, very good.
You get the free spin bonus relatively often. Like once every 100 spins or less. You then get 7 spins where you are guaranteed 3 wild symbols on every win.
But you have a choice to make. Do you go safe, place the 3 wilds on reels 1 to 3, but have only a multiplier of 1x to all your wins? Or go for broke, place the 3 wilds on reels 3 to 5 and go for a multiplier of 3x on all your wins.
Well, actually, you do neither. You go for mystery option number 4, where you can get 3 wilds anywhere on the reels, at any point, with a mystery multiplier ranging from 1x to 4x.
Whether in the base game or during the Prize Zone bonus games, the more wilds you have on one payline, the bigger the multipliers. So 4 wilds on one payline, for example, gives you a 4x multiplier.
Which is rare. In the base game seeing a wild symbol is like trying to find subtlety in the 80s. It was there, somewhere, but hidden beneath layers of shoulder pads and neon lights.
But during the free spins, you get 3 wilds all time. So already you increase your chance of having a 3x multiplier on a win. It’s worth going for the mystery option, because you often get a 2x multiplier or 3x multiplier on a spin, with the wilds sitting on reels 1 to 4, and making it more likely you’ll get a win.
At the end of the day, we can’t tell you what to do. But we can tell you that this is better than the free spin in the Wild Neon slot game, and we really like that game. So if you do nothing else, take a spin after reading this Prime Zone slot review.

Multiplier Wild: The Wild symbol can land anywhere on reels 1-5 and if two or more multipliers are part of a winning line, you get a multiplier matching the number of wilds. So two wilds give you an x2 multiplier, 3 wilds give you an x3 multiplier etc...
Prime Zone Bonus: 3 Scatter bonus symbols anywhere on reels 2, 3 and 4 triggers the Prime Zone Bonus. You get 7 free spins but you have to choose from 4 different selections:
The multipliers from the wilds still work, but you get an extra multiplier on top of any wins in the game.
Sometimes, we like simple slots with one big concept. And that's exactly what this Prime Zone slot on mobile gives you.
Prime Zone is a 5x3 video slot with 10 paylines and wilds that give you a multiplier the more you find on screen. 3 scatters will trigger the free spins where you get to choose how big a multiplier you want to play for - 1x all the way to 4x.
The top win isn't quite high enough for us to give it 5 stars, but we still won enough and frequently enough to keep playing (bear in mind that like we wrote in the Monkey Warrior slot review, that mid variance game has 6,000 times your bet max win).
One of our favourite Quickspin slot games of 2019, and we can see ourselves coming back for that cool 80s vibe.
Or you can play Prime Zone at one of these mobile casinos:
