If you are a fan of Rainbow Riches slot machines, you’ll find plenty here to love. It keeps the same Irish slot theme but is set over a huge 6 reels and 8 rows grid of tiny little symbols.

It’s good that each symbol has a bright and colourful background so you can see easily if you get a win. But despite the name, this Rainbow Riches Cash Cluster mobile slot is not a cluster pay game.

Instead, first, you spin a coordinate, which looks like A8 or F1. A-F is the reel, and 8-1 is the row. You’ll then collect the symbol on the reel in that coordinate, and any other symbols it touches if it’s in a cluster of the same symbols.

And this time around, we are not sure if it’s different in a good way. The way you spin coordinate and then collect symbols is slow, not to mention that the paytable is pretty poor.

You spin in a collection of 6 spins – in those spins you need to get as many symbols as you can. If you want to win 10x your bet you’ll need to collect 11 four-leaf clover symbols.

When on most coordinate you collect maybe one or two symbols, by spin 4 or 5, you know if you are going to win anything in this Rainbow Riches Cash Cluster slot game.

The good news is that the 6 spins only cost you whatever is your bet amount, so in a way, you get value for money, but in a very, very, very slow and frustrating way.

Is that enough to get us coming back to play again? No. We’ll just play on the original. But there are a few saving graces here that make this Rainbow Riches Cash Cluster playable.

How to get a win: You get 6 Spins. On each spin, you'll get a coordinate that gives you a number (row) and letter (reel). These collect (at minimum) whatever symbol is on show. But if that symbol has a cluster of the same symbol around it, touching horizontally or vertically, you'll collect those as well.

This leads us to the paytable:

11 four-leaf clovers: 10x your bet
10 horseshoes: 5x your bet
9 harps: 2x your bet
8 mushrooms: 1x your bet
7 wells: 0 - 50x your bet

You can win multiple prizes over your 6 spins. Once you finish your 6 spins, the collected symbols reset. You can win anything from 0.50 to 500x your bet.

Extra Spin Gamble: After you play your 6 spins, you can pay to play an extra spin of coordinates, if you think you could potentially collect extra symbols to get a payout.

Cascades: When a symbol is collected it will explode and other symbols fall into place. This is purely visual, it does not allow you to win any further symbols.

Super Gem Symbol: If you hit the Super Gem it will collect all surrounding symbols in the play grid. If a Super Gem is connected to a winning symbol or a cluster of symbols, it will be awarded as a wild and added to the price chart.

Road to Riches Bonus: Get 3 Leprechaun symbols to trigger the bonus. You'll spin a wheel and move the leprechaun along the path to move him. This Rainbow Riches Cash Cluster slot machine is a very slow game, making you spin coordinates, then collect icons, and finally spin again for some extra symbols.

It's frustrating and it lacks the energy of other cluster pays slots where wins are quick and the thrills are high.

But that's not to say it's not fun if you are looking for something a little bit different from the normal, and are a fan of that famous leprechaun and his bonus features.
