We guarantee that you probably haven’t played on a mobile game like the Seven 7’s slot before, and that’s both wonderful and confusing.
Let’s be clear: this Seven 7’s mobile slot is not complicated. You’ll pick it up and very quickly understand how it works and what you’re looking for.
It’s confusing because you’ll wonder why anyone would want to play on a one-reel slot with 3 symbols. That’s right. You spin one reel, and if you get a Bar symbol, you lose, if you get a 7 symbol you win.
See? Simplicity itself. The confusion continues as you take a second, third and then 50 spins later, you may just find that you’re hooked to what we can only call a ‘classic slot machine‘, but is secretly a video slot in disguise.
The 7 symbol is the only symbol that creates a win and has a paytable amount that pays. If you do get a win, you suddenly get a second reel to spin. If you get another 7, you get the third reel. This continues until the maximum amount of 7 reels.
In essence, this is a little bit like a sticky win slot – you get a win, that reel is sticky, and you just physically get another reel to try and get another win.
It’s actually a really fun and interesting way of giving video slots a new twist. We love being surprised and this Seven 7’s slot certainly did that, including giving us a fresh look and theme to what could have been a very boring 7s and bars game.
With a slight sway, making you feel like you are sitting playing slots on a ship, this isn’t just another yatch. Oh no. It’s a steamboat.
More importantly, beyond the surprised, you can’t help but get excited as those reels get bigger, and you realise that the top win is a huge 25,000x your bet.
The problem is that this game only really gets exciting at around 3 reels. Which makes sense, because that’s how many reels you need to make a classic slot machine.
Having to watch and wait what happens in the first couple of reels, and just looking for that 7 symbols, can kill your patience fairly quickly, especially if you are not used to playing on classic fruity games.
Maybe if this had started as a 3 reeler and had a couple more symbols, expanding up to 7 reels, this could have been a little less frustrating. Maybe it would have killed that wonderful simplicity in looking for just one symbol, or that wild symbol that gives you a 2x multiplier from time to time.
We honestly don’t know, which is why we gave this Seven 7’s slot review an uncomfortable 3 stars – either you’ll love it or hate it, but chances are, you’ll go one way or another.

Wild: The 2x symbol is the wild symbol and adds a 2x multiplier to the win on the payline.
Continuwin Reels: This is a special mechanic where when you get a 7 on the one reel, you get a second reel. This could land another 7, a 2x wild, or the Bars. If you get the first two, you get another reel, and then another reel, up to a maximum of 7 of a kind wins.
Bar symbols pay nothing.
We couldn't decide if we loved or hated this Seven 7's slot on mobile, so we gave it a middle of the range 3 stars because we suspect this will be a marmite type of game.
On one hand, this is a classic slot, but with only one reel. We love the way it surprised us with its expanded reel, but maybe wished they'd started with 3 reels and given more than just one symbol.
On the other hand, there's a charm to the simplicity of just looking for that magical 7 and watching the reels get bigger and bigger, closer to that 25,000x your bet jackpot.
We are in a strange position where we are sitting on the fence. You need to love classic slots, but want more than just a classic game, but also... less?
Look, if you want something totally different and unexpected, with a big top jackpot win, try it. If not maybe go play on the Ivanhoe slot instead.
