The Silver Bullet mobile slot is a simply 9 paylines 5 reel Playtech game that doesn’t try to be anything else, other than what you see on screen.
You know what you don’t usually get anymore? Really, really, simple 5 reel slot machines with just scatters and wilds.
That’s because, ultimately, most of us have gotten use to bonus games, free spins, and exciting features. If not, we’d play on a classic 3 reeler like the Chinese Kitchen slot, for example.
And that one is a beautiful Playtech machine, with cool and colourful graphics. The Silver Bullet video slot looks and sounds like something you’d find in an old western saloon, circa. 1890.
From wagon wheels, to old whisky bottles and green dollar bills, this mobile slot feels small and uninteresting. At least the Wanted slot from the same provider had interesting outlaws as characters to liven up the old western theme.
Something that horses heads, and smoking pipes, don’t manage to do for this Silver Bullet slot machine.
That said, the nice thing about simple slots is that instead of putting the focus on features, make it all about the wins.
Specifically the 5 of a kind wins which can range from 10 to 1000 times your bet.
Add the fact that these 9 paylines pay from left to right, and right to left, and you get enough action to help you down a couple of shots of whiskey before ridding off into the sunset of another slot machine.
That’s the real problem isn’t it. Compare to the like of so many other Playtech mobile slots Silver Bullet doesn’t have much to make it stand out.
It is, in fact, an almost picture perfect copy of the Zhao Cai Jin Bao, including that fact that it has a 2x multiplier on the wild. Still, that far east slot has, at least, a nicer theme to make things a dash more interesting.

Wilds: The Sheriff star is wild and substitutes for all symbols and comes with a 2x multiplier if used to create a win.
Scatters: The gun is the scatter symbols and pays regardless of where it lands on the reels. 2, 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols pay 1x, 5x, 10x, or 100x your bet, respectively.
Pays Both Ways: This simply means that these 9 paylines pay when the symbols fall from left to right, and from right to left, much like they do on the Starburst slot.
The Silver Bullet mobile slot game isn't bad per say, just not massively interesting. Even 5 scatters only pay 100 times your bet, and the wilds are only useful as substitutes.
A game that needs to be put to pasture in favour of more interesting games. If simplicity is what you are after, we'd recommend the Nian Nian You Yu slot which came out at the same time.
