Before we into themes and features of this 3 reel slot machine by Reaslitic Gaming there is one thing we have to be honest about.
We did the math, and if you get the top winning symbol on all five reels you will win 250,000 in cash – which is 1,250 times your bet.
However, the game rules state that if you can’t win more than 50,000 in the free spin bonus round – which would only be 250 times your bet or getting the high paying symbols on one payline.
So is that a rule for the free spin rounds only? Or is that the top win of this Splashtastic slot overall? It’s very unclear, and as such, we automatically removed a star rating because it makes a big difference and we can’t tell you either way.
The theme is nice enough for a 3 reel slot machine
Ultimately, when you start playing on a 3 reel classic slot you know you get a simple game at heart, and that is generally reflected in the animations.

This Splashtastic 3 reeler isn’t that; it’s basically a late Summer slot, released in October when it clearly would have been perfect in July sometime.
You’ve got all the fish from Finding Nemo present in an Aquarium surrounded by a pretty beach sandy scene that makes you think of family holidays.
It’s not meant to stand out from the pack, but it fits nicely in there with the likes of FishOrama by Playtech or Alaskan Fishing slot by Microgaming.

With only 3 reels and 5 paylines, you know that your main chance of getting those wins is going to be by simply getting a three of a kind win.
And this slot game doesn’t try and change that, though it does add a nice free spin bonus round which has multipliers but in a strange way.
Basically, whenever the pearl scatter symbol shows up on reel 3, it will double your total free spin win at that point. So it’s kind of a multiplier, except it’s not the single win on screen, but all your free spin pot getting the multiplier.
If only we knew what that top win could look like, we may be tempted to come back. As it is, the wins we did manage to get were fairly minimal and there were very few surprises.
The Sea Hunter slot by Play’n GO is a far more attractive alternative, in our opinion.

We really wanted to like this Splashtastic mobile game for what it was: a simple classic 3 reel machine with the occasional free spins.
But as we suspect that top win is actually closer to 250 times your bet, this is not a slot we can recommend without a lot of doubt in our heart.
We didn't see any wins higher than about 50x our bet, and they weren't that common, hence our suspicions.
In short, this is a classic slot with a classic theme and classically poor wins. Personally, we'd rather play on Bullseye which is closer to a fruit machine, but at least you know the wins are definitely there.
