The Robot overlords have won, and now we just have to trudge through the factory… thank-fully your Robo friends are here to keep the tedium away.
The Wild Robo Factory mobile slot is a strange beast. In the base game, you are in the factory, working hard amongst robots and mechanical card symbols.
During the free spins, on the other hand, you are taken deep into the bowels of the underground, where the overlord Robots are pushing you and your friends down mechanical conveyor belts, pushing you to work hard and produce more. It’s what happens after the revolution in the Planet Fortune slot.
And you produce great wins in this Wild Robo Factory slot game, as long as you are willing to whip those robot slaves into shape; because if they go missing, you won’t get much of anything here.
We love walking wilds. There’s something about getting those extra spins that you don’t have to pay, that makes you feel like you get value for money. It’s why when you read our Jack and the Beanstalk slot review you’ll find out it’s one of our favourite NetEnt games.
Except here Yggdrasil has upped the game by giving you walking wilds that is either one or 4 symbols tall, meaning you can get wild reels and up to 5 re-spins.
It’s fun to watch, even if we wish it would happen a little more often. You can also get a 2x multiplier on wilds sometimes, but they don’t show up as often as we’d like – neither does the symbols feature which turns low paying to high paying ones.
So you don’t get free spins in the traditional sense. The Wild Robo Factory slot spins give you robots and the feature ends only once the robots make their way across the conveyor belt.
So at minimum, you get 5 Robots, which if they show up all one after the other, means you only get 5 spins, but on your last spin, you have 5 wild robots on the reels. On the other hand, if they are spaced out 3 robot spots apart you get over 15 spins, but only one or two wild robots on the reels at any time.
It’s a little different and certainly makes things interesting, especially if you get the system overload feature which reverses the robots, and gives you even more spins. We like it when Yggdrasil keeps thing simple like in the Penguin City slot or the Legend of the White Snake Lady game.
This Wild Robo Factory video slot sits somewhere in the middle of that playlist, and certainly one to try out if you are looking for something different.

The Robo Walking Wilds: In this game you can have two types of wilds.
Robo Free Spins: Get 3 free spin Robo symbols and you'll trigger the free spins.
Instead of free spin, you get Robos, which are placed on the conveyor belt 1-3 spots apart. The move from left to right on the screen and when they finally come off the screen, the spins end.
System Overload: During Robo Free Spins the conveyor belt can reverse randomly, moving all Robos backwards 1-9 positions. This feature is only available if at least 3 Robos have moved across the conveyor belt past reel 1.
Symbol Swap: Randomly, 1 low paying symbol can be randomly converted to the equivalent high paying symbols guaranteeing a win. For example: green low pay symbols would convert to green high pay symbols. This feature can activate in the base game, in Robo Free Spins and Robo Respins.
With so many walking wilds in this Wild Robo Factory slot on mobile, it's hard not to like it. Walking wilds with free re-spins give you value for money and not quite knowing how many free spin bonus games you'll get gives you an extra thrill.
We wish the multiplier wild would show up more often and that you get more system overloads and symbol swaps... we played for a while and realised we hadn't triggered these so kept playing.
Still, it's nice for Yggdrasil Gaming to have kept things simple this time around and focus on just one big feature. We liked the Jackpot Raiders slot but we can understand why newcomers would get a little overwhelmed by all the bonus games.
Here you just have to focus on watching those little robots walking across your screen and just wait for those wins.
Wild Robo Factory is 5x4 reel 25 payline slot machine with a minimum bet of 0.05, walking wilds, scatters and free spins.
