Technically, this is a copy of the Mystery Joker slot, an old game we didn’t rate that highly.
Mostly it was because the theme felt dated and uninspired. Something which the Xmas Joker manages to fight its way out of by using cheerful music, and symbols that, if not particularly original, still bring this happy season to life.
It’s not half as beautiful as Play’n GO’s gorgeous Merry Xmas slot (which we highly recommend), but it’s definitely an improvement.

Due to their frequency, you’ll just as easily walk away with 5x to 10x your bet, and be vaguely, if not completely satisfied. It’s fine, there’s not multipliers, so you can get the same wins as on the base game.

Still, playing on Xmas Joker did make us re-visit Mystery Joker, and made us realise that the poor graphics made us treat that game perhaps a little more unfairly than it deserved.
