How to play Zorro mobile slot

We are going to be honest that when we put in our star system for defining how good a slot was, we forgot to put 2.5. We figured, it’s either good enough to be a three, or bad enough to be a two.
2.5 doesn’t help anyone right?
We would argue that this Aristocrat slot is exactly that. It split us down the middle, good enough to play, but for us, not quite good enough to play often.
Still, we had to make a decision, and due to the very basic graphics, it fell down to a 2 star slot machine.
But we’d still argue that you should try the Zorro slot machine, especially if you are new to mobile casinos.
So many random bonuses
It’s quite fitting that a slot based on the iconic dashing black-clad masked outlaw is full of action. But only if you pay an extra 10 coins for the Zorro Feature. If you don’t this mobile slot becomes unplayable, we warn you.
Once you do, you can rarely go through 50 to 80 spins without triggering one of the five random bonus features.
Now here is the main problem with the Zorro slot game. You don’t get to choose which of the five features you get.
Which means that as excited as you are to trigger it, you’ll then end up with the crappy Tornado bonus five times in a row, before you get one of the 3 free spin features.
But then you could get the free spins 10 times in a row and love every moment!
Mostly though, it feels like the larger wins are just too hard to reach.
You don’t need a huge budget to play on the Zorro slot
As this is a fairly low variance game, and you get those bonus features constantly, the wins are constant. But rarely more than 10 times your bet.
The only time you get maybe a chance at more is during the free spins barrels (where you could get 15x multiplier on the wild) or the Magic Doors, where you get instant cash on free spin symbols.
But even then, it’s still mostly a hypothetical than a reality, with most of the top wins capping at around 50 times your bet.
Which is why we still like to recommend the Zorro video slot to newbies. Because it shows you a whole host of bonus features, and much like the mask-man himself, is fair to the poor and unfortunate.
So whilst you probably won’t get rich, you’ll certainly get your fair share.

In-game bonus features
Wilds: The Zorro slot symbol is wild and replaces all other symbols except scatter.
Zorro Bonuses: This will be automatically turned on, but if you want to turn it off, you'll have to go to the betting option, and you'll see a little green button.
It will cost you an additional 10 coins, but you'll now get the letters Z, O, R, R, O show up on reels 1-5 respectively, on top of paying symbols A,K, Q, and J.
Spell Zorro on the reels and you'll trigger one of the following five random bonus. You get no choice in this, it could be any:
- Tornado: Zorro himself will show up on his trusty black stallion Tornado, flashing across the screen, and giving you a random bonus prize. This could be up to 500x your line bet.
- Gold Coin: This one is the rarer of the bonuses, and probably because it can get you some decent wins. You have a selection of coins, match two to win that prize. You can also uncover multipliers of x2, x3, x4, x5 and x10, which would multiply your end win.
- Wild Z: You get 3 free spins. During each of the free spins, a random 'Z' symbol will be marked on one of the symbols, and remain there for the rest of the spins. These 'Z' are wild and replace all other symbols.
- Barrels: Here you'll get to pick you're free spin feature, either: 1. 20 free games with 2x multiplier on the wild, 2. 15 free games with 2x, 3x, or 4x multiplier on the wild, 3. 10 free games with 3x, 5x, or 8x multiplier on the wild, 4. 5 free games with 5x, 10x, or 15 multiplier on the wild. Problem is, the wilds are not that common. Still, we tend to pick the last one because we like big wins, but conservative players are better with the 10 or 15 free spins.
- Magic Door: Select a door to reveal one of the three main characters (Zorro, the love interest, the rival) and you'll then start 5 free spins. Everytime your bonus symbol shows up, you'll reveal a cash prize of up to 500, 750 or 1,000 times your line bet. This feature is by far our favourite and not as hard to catch as you might think.
Zorro Review Conclusion
We are probably being ungenerous with this Zorro mobile slot machine by giving it two stars.
Problem is, with other low variance machines with far more enticing graphics and wins that feel closer at hand (Play'n GO Tower Quest slot comes to mind), Zorro just can't compete at the same level.
That said, it works particularly well as an Android phone slot or iPhone slot, and part of us loves this latin-american rascal.
With tons of action on the reels, he still very entertaining and ensures you can keep coming back for more.
