It’s official. The NetEnt Rock Tour is over, and we’ve gotten our final Rock slots. Which gig had your heart pounding, and which left you cold?
We’ve been looking forward to getting these 3 NetEnt Rock Tour games since early 2015.
We kid you not. We announced way back in February that NetEntertainment had Guns n Roses slot planned, and then when we finally received it in January of 2016… a little late, but it arrived.
That was quickly followed by the news that 2016 was going to be their rock year, with a Jimi Hendrix and Motorhead slot machine completing the set.
So now we have them all before us, we ask ourselves… was it worth the wait? And which of the three will you be rocking to?
Before we get on with which of these three casino NetEnt games clearly won the crown (there is an obvious winner), we’d like to take a moment to wonder whether this was all worth a whole year of anticipation.
UK get 50, Rest of the world get 20 free spins, only at LeoVegas casino.
Usually, every year, NetEntertainment announce one or two big branded games they will focus their main energy on.
One year it was on the Aliens slot, another it was the ever crude South Park game.
Was making three too much to chew?
From our basic calculation, NetEntertainment made one amazing slot, one good slot, and one mediocre game.
So 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.
We have to admire their ambition. That’s three sets of brands they had to keep happy and create machines that will be remembered for years to come.
Not to mention actually make enjoyable to play for slots gamblers like us.
And whilst some would argue that meant there was a fair amount of very mediocre games created along the way (*cough* Theme Park Tickets of Fortune slot *cough*) that were sacrificed to the rock gods, we think, overall, that this NetEnt Rock Tour was worth waiting for.
You know we do reviews of mobile slots, so you can read the full analyse of each by following the links below.
But we’ve written down our quick thoughts of who are the winners and losers of this casino Rock Tour and why.
We begin our sad tale with the great, the wonderful Jimi Hendrix.
We were so excited about this game. NetEnt announced that they had used real shots of Jimi and created brand new, never seen before, animations of him rocking out to his best tunes.
And what we got was… a 60s hippy slot full of flowers, eyes, and other weird symbols. Even Jimi looked almost fake. It would have been better to use actual footage in our opinion.
Thank-fully the bonus games in this Jimi Hendrix slot game charmed us enough to make this very playable. Especially as you get 6 different types of slot features.
Not quite as extra-ordinary as the man himself, but good enough.
Jimi came out in April, and was eagerly anticipated following Guns n Roses. But, as we mentioned, fell a little flat.
So we had all but forgotten about the Rock Tour slots, until NetEnt reminded us last month that Motorhead was coming.
Now, we’re not going to lie – whilst we could sing all Guns N Roses songs, and knew most of the Jimi Hendrix tunes, we are not huge rock metal fans.
We kind of remembered that Ace of Spades song from something or another. Basically, it wasn’t that eagerly anticipated.
But, trust NetEnt to end this tour on a high, with a 76 payline slot that knows how to keep things interesting.
It doesn’t have as many features as either of it’s sister machines, but the Motorhead slot game is a joy to play. Thanks, in part, to the fact you can turn the music on or off, so you don’t have to deal with heavy guitar strings if you don’t want to.
But mostly, it’s because of those mystery symbols, which show up stacked after every spin, and in clusters during the bomber feature.
One good cluster will have you rocking out in your living room, making you feel like a pure rock god.
Now, some of you out there might say we are slightly biased because out of the three, Guns N’ Roses is probably the one band we’d actually pay to go see.

But, in the mobile phone slot version anyway, you don’t get to pick the tunes.
Then again, NetEnt had a lot longer to work on this Guns n Roses mobile slot than it did the other two.
It was meant to come out sometime at the end of 2015, and they pushed the release date to January 2016 to fit with their ‘Rock Tour NetEnt’ plans.
The extra time certainly didn’t harm this video slot, and it’s easily one of our favourite games of 2016.
About the only thing you can complain about is that there is so many bonus features, that in one play session you might not experience them all, or at the very least, not find your favourite.
But that’s the way gigs go sometimes. You are guaranteed the crowd-pleasers, but you might not always necessarily get your favourite song.
Still, it’s hard not to be entertained, especially as not only is there lots going on, but there’s big wins to be found. Specifically 1,125 times your bet in a single spin.
There are plenty of great mobile NetEnt casinos all over the place, but only a few that we recommend.
Personally, we’d go to Guts casino. Why?
Because thanks to our exclusive casino bonus, you get 10 free spins no deposit on the Guns n Roses slot game the moment you register, followed by 3 deposit bonuses and 100 free spins.
So not only do you get to try out the best of these 3 for free, but you can keep playing for a long while after.
Trust us, you’re going to want to stick around with all 3 of these rock gods slots.
