The official release date for the Yggdrasil Incinerator slot is the 21st of January 2016; will you be fired up into deep space? Or will you simply leave it to roam with the rest of the space junk?
Yggdrasil Gaming make some very interesting online mobile slots, so it’s always interesting to hear about new mobile casino games coming out.
That said, the reason we’ve put such an emphasis on the release date of this Incinerator slot game is because it’s due on exactly the same days as NetEnt’s Guns n’ Roses game.
And let’s be honest, that is some tough competition; have you seen the awesome Guns n Roses slot video preview we did??
This Yggdrasil machine will not be able to compete. Of that we are sure. But, once the storm over GnR has settled, we think it might surprise a few of you.
Quite a bit actually, ever since they got their UK license in December 2015, Yggdrasil have been happy to give out as much information as possible about their up coming games.
After all, why keep them secret? The official text sets the scene:
“Welcome to the world of junk and space debris, where you control the biggest incinerator in the known universe! With Incinerator you will always be close to your next super big win thanks to the wild pattern feature that occurs after three consecutive drops.”

Yggdrasil generally like to create big thrill slot machines; the likes of the Casino Zeppelin game, a casino in the sky where you’ll either win all, or lose all.
This is not one of those.
It’s not even something a little more well balanced, like in Draglings, where you get chances at big wins, but also doesn’t eat your wallet in a few spins.
Looking at the numbers, we are actually looking at something a little easier on the wallet, more like the Holmes & The Stolen Stones slot.
By that we mean that you’ll get lots of little wins, and the big wins, whilst hiding in there somewhere, won’t be the easiest to find – if at all.
After all, Holmes has 5 progressive jackpots, Incinerator has none.
The problem is we don’t really have a point of reference for this Incinerator video slot.
The only other Yggdrasil games that are as low variance are two of their jackpot slots; Holmes as we mentioned above, and Joker Millions.
And you can’t compare mobile jackpot slots to normal slots – it’s like comparing apples and pears.
Sure, they are both fruit, but how they taste (or play in this analogy) will be totally different.
The thing is, just because Yggdrasil don’t usually do low variance slots, doesn’t mean it won’t be any good; especially as the signs are pretty positive that this has some fun, familiar, features.
Basically, if getting 3 wins in a row is easy enough to do so you can enjoy the thrill of the wild patterns, this could be one hell of a rollicking ride.
You know how in Gonzo’s Quest slot, after every cascading win the multiplier increases?
Here, after every 3rd win, the game will randomly choose to turn a series of symbols into wilds. It means that you’ll get an extra 2 to 3 extra wilds on your 3rd win, leading to a further chain reaction of wins.
What piqued our interest was the Super patterned. They’ve promised that, if you win enough times, you’re likely to catch anything from 4 to 6 extra wilds on screens.
And that’s where the mega wins could be hiding.
Are we as excited as we are for the Guns and Roses video slot coming out the same day? No. We are not. That game will be epic.
What we are is intrigued.
Mostly because Yggdrasil are coming out of their comfort zone and trying to provide us with an easy playing casino game which, if the theme is anything to go by, should fit beautifully on iOS and Android screens.
No, no one really dreams of being a ‘space junker’.
But plenty of us dream of space, and watching debris getting crushed in a blaze of glory will undoubtedly be fun, especially if that blaze leads to a chain reaction of wins.
Usually hiding amongst a cornucopia of other mobile casino games; due to their relatively small selection of mobile and online slots, you’ll find them, in multi-software casinos.
Our favourite of the lot? Has to be Vera & John casino.
Reasons being, they put Yggdrasil slots front and centre, and in their loyalty shop, you can even play for super spins; meaning you get infinite number of free spins on any of these games until you’ve won over a certain amount.
But, if you are just looking to try them out, we’d heartily recommend the Doubles slot – you can pick the variance to suit your game style, and it’s ridiculously good fun.
If you want something a little more ‘traditional’ Yggdrasil, you should also check out their Winterberries game.
Perfect to brighten up this cold January month and to get you excited for the release of Incinerator on the 21st.
