There’s a reel on the top and on the bottom of these 3 middle rows. And mostly in the base game, they are inactive.

Unless you get a wild on reel 2 or reel 4. The first will activate the top reel, and the second will activate the bottom reel.

Activate how? By spinning wild symbols. If they land above the reels, they basically give you extra ways to wins because they can be used as part of winning combinations.

So let’s start with the bad news because we are optimists at heart, so we might as well get over an done with.

This is all speculation, but if there was one thing worrying us about this Rainbrew game, other than that fairly generic theme, is the fact that get 1,125 ways to win seems short of impossible.

You would have to get wilds on every single reel, on the special rows, which would only happen in the free spins.

So not only is this only really available in the slot bonus games, but you’d have to have the luck of the gods on your side as this would create 5 expanding symbols, giving you (essentially) that top win (we suspect).

So, in reality, you are almost never playing a 1,125 ways to win slot machine; what you have is 243 ways to win with occasional a couple of extra ways to add to the fun.

Will this take away from the game play? We hope not. After all, who doesn’t love a good 243 ways to win machine? And if you get a few extra ways from time to time all the better.
