Anyone who’s read our slot reviews probably knows that we have a little soft spot for Microgaming original Thunderstruck slot.

It’s not particularly complicated, it’s not even particularly stunning – it’s over 10 years old after all. But damn has it aged well.

This little beauty is wonderfully well balanced, giving you decent wins and keeping you playing, whilst being old enough that the new generation of players will probably ignore it.

Most will ignore it in favour of the far more dazzling Thunderstruck II, but our heart belongs to the original. Plus it has the lowest betting range of all the slots on this list.

Wednesday 13th: Dare you do the Dragon Dance?

Released in February 2016, this is one of the newer Microgaming games – but, we think, not without merits.
